BECOMING A REAL ESTATE AGENT CAN BE DAUNTING...

Another of my specialties is helping people become real estate agents, without the headaches, and on the first attempt. So you can start earning a living NOW!

Guide to becoming a real estate agent

Becoming a Realtor is SIMPLE:

Study for the State Exam

Pass the State Exam and get License

Go out and help people Buy and Sell properties

But it is NOT easy

(that's why I'm here)

1. There are many steps involved in studying for the State Exam.

These include but are not limited to:

  • Talk to a local Realtor to determine if this is the career for you

  • Research different Real Estate Schools

  • Decide if you’ll take classes in a classroom or online

  • Pick a school and order materials

  • Set goals as to how much you will study each week and how long it will take to finish

  • Plan financially for gap in time between now and first transaction closing (first paycheck)

  • Complete courses and get “Certificate of Completion”

  • Apply for State Exam date, fill out with Broker of choice if possible

If even one of these steps is missed or not researched it can cause big gaps in time as to how long it will take to become licensed.

2. Passing the State Exam can be tricky. There are steps you can take that will increase your chances of success greatly.

These included but are not limited to:

  • Find other Real Estate School students

  • Set up consistent Study Sessions

  • Collaborate with people that have recently applied for and/or taken the exam

  • Take a live 2 Day crash course right before you take your State Exam

  • It is imperative to collaborate and Master Mind with your peers.

  • Working together with others toward common goals ensures success.

3. Ever changing Market Conditions require that you change your Actions when the Market Changes.

Your job is to talk to people to generate leads and set appointments. This networking is imperative to

your success in Real Estate.

Lead Generation networking can include but is not limited to:

  • Mixers

  • Door Knocking

  • Going business to business talking with other business owners

  • Talking to Family

  • Talking to Friends

  • Marketing online and in Social Media

  • Holding Open Houses
